Thought I'd share this aerial photo I took of Diamond Head.

Beautiful!!!! I climbed that mountain a few years ago and the scenery from the top was spectacular. I'll be back there again in October.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Ooooooooooh, nice. Bet that looks spectacular full res! Great color and nice job of holding detail in the clouds without crushing the dark blue water (and vice versa...)

Thanks ;)

I used a polarizing filter for this shot.

Nice shot, you don't see that angle too often.

The buildings on the right seem slightly disruptive, but a very strong piece regardless.

Nice shot. Sky in particular looks a little over-sharpened? Good angle down onto the water captures some great colour, which combines with that in the sky to justify the lack of Rule of Thirds placement for the horizon. I like the rippled texture in the water. Main concern is that the front and back rows of mountains don't have a sense of distance between them... especially on the left where the tops converge briefly and the buildings are the only element strongly supporting the sense of distance between them. A time of day with different lighting, some mist or clouds etc. might add that extra element to make it all click even better.

Cheers, Tony
