I saw her pitch to a bunch of major leaguers and only one made real contact...She was pitching harder than Randy Johnson I think they said...

Probably relatively speaking as the distance from the mound to the plate is shorter in softball than baseball.

ESPN/ABC always make this comparison in the Little League WS. 60mph fastball in LL = 90mph fastball in MLB, etc...

Last year the Rockford Thunder had their premier pitcher, Cat Osterman, face any of the local media who wanted to try and hit her. Mind you this wasn't get a hit off of her but just make contact with the ball. From what I recall there was a big 0'fer that day.

Did Cat go to Tennessee? I seem to recall her Vs UofA a few years back...

She went to Texas. Her and Finch are considered the two premier pitchers in women's softball right now.

UofA softball is indeed a fine sport. I truly enjoy watching them and they have a fine coach as well. Along with Lute Olson coaching basketball I find the UofA to be a fine bunch of athletes and so very well coached. Your pictures are amazing.

Osterman and Finch are part of the National Fast Pitch league with Osterman playing for the Rockford Thunder and Finch playing for the Chicago Bandits.

I went to a Chicago vs Rockford game last year. My daughter is a huge Finch Fan. User her bat, Glove, Batting gloves. Too bad she was at the Pan Am games with Team USA. I don't think we will get to see her this year as she will be with Team USA again on there way to in China.

Was that during her time on TWIB doing the Pitch, Hit, and Run Segments? I think it was Sean Casey that hit the ball but I don't think it was fair.
