Hi all, this would be Reecey. Our Mini Aussie Red Merle female. She is the sweetest most affectionate dog I've ever owned. She is currently pregnant and is due in about 3 weeks! ;-)a can't wait to share her babies pics. Yes, we raise Aussies

This is Snowy, she is a an about 8 year old blind and deaf double merle Australian Shepherd. We got her from a rescue shelter about two years ago, this is a really great dog, everyone who meets her wants to keep her.
The first photo was taken when we first got her, she had blood in her one eye but a quick trip to the vet took care of that.

Thank you for sharing Snowy 's pic and story! You have a great heart and I admire that! Not too many people would take on the extra responsibility with a blind and deaf dog. Thank You!

Snowy is not much different than other dogs, she runs into things sometimes but she gets around remarkably well, she is also a very happy dog and likes everybody she meets.

Excellent thread of an excellent breed! I've owned two aussie's over that past 20 years. This is Sheila watching over the backyard.

A couple of weeks ago after our camera club meeting I happened to meet Skype and his owner. I invited them back the following week to get some shots of Skype. Thought I would add a photo of this beautiful dog.

I did a benefit photo shoot (open to the public) for our local animal shelter. It was a lot of work, but fun. Here is one of my favorite pairs, they were so well behaved. Yes, I know vignetting is passe, but I like the effect here.
