my DG200 is awesome, and it's one of the best camera bags out there in my opinion, if you have a small rig. i prefer to carry most of my rig around with me, as i'm a photographer for work as well as for play. i have 4 lenses, a speedlite, my XTI body+grip, as well as my rocket blower and batteries/cards/remotes/etc.

is there a mid-size bag that can fit all that stuff comfortably and still be good to carry around everyday? maybe a little bigger than the DG200? there's so much stuff on amazon, i don't know what's good and what's crap.

any input will be much appreciated...
EDIT: sorry mods, wrong thread. could you move this to storage?

I know it's been a while...but, did you ever replace your bag? If so, what'd you replace it with? I went through the same thing...and, without my knowing, my wife got me the canon backpack...for my b'day. Love it...it fits my 70-200 with reversed hood, 85L with rev. hood, 15mm FE, 17-40L, 1.4xtc, 3 speedlights, rocket blower, cards, 24 batteries, and 2 extra cam batteries, 50mm 2.5 macro, gray card, filters, etc.

It's basically my dg200 bag, plus some...only thing it won't fit with all the above is the 100mm macro...but, if I took out a speedlight, I'd have ample room for that, too. Oh, and with all that stuff, it's still comfortable...though, heavy...hehe.

Cheers,
i.

I'm happy with my Crumpler 7MDH. You might be able to get away with the 6MHD though. It's very comfortable for a shoulder bag, and it doesn't look like a camera bag.

Everything in my sig (except the 100-400) fits fairly comfortably in my 7MHD.
