What are the best ways to store negative and slide film for later prints? (5-10 years later)


Rebel xti, grip, canon ef 50 f/1.4, canon ef 17-40 L, speedlite 430, rebel t2

Processed or unexposed? ???
If processed just a dark area (ex. a draw or closet).
If unexposed then a freezer.

Thats how I did it for years :)

Freezer - but keep it in the original packaging and also put them in a sealed bag or container.
Give them plenty of time to 'defrost' slowly to avoid any moisture being on the emulsion.

For short term storage (a few months) a fridge will be fine - but again keep them sealed as a precaution.
