What are the largest enlargements you can make from slide film ?


Rebel xti, grip, canon ef 50 f/1.4, canon ef 17-40 L, speedlite 430, rebel t2

Depends on your film ISO, whether it is kodachrome or E6 processing and how your technique is.

I've used Kodachrome 25 with the camera on a tripod, cable released and was able to easily enlarge to 18"x24".

You can enlarge as big as you like (billboard size for instance) It all depends on how far away you are going to view it.

What size film? -8"x10" sheet film will blow up pretty large (billboard size for instance)
35mm will easily go up to 30" x 20" if its low ISO (25 or 50) and a good exposure.
