I live around 10 minutes away from Mona Vale. You should drive up to the few suburbs preceding Palm Beach (around 15km north of Mona). Great opportunities for photos. :)

The northern beaches are certainly beautiful. Drove up today :)
TBH, I don't even know how my pictures turned out considering 70mm *1.6 at the widest O_O

Apart from the photo talk, I enjoyed the drive but damn, the fuel meter just ticked its way down.

Drove from Lane Cove/Chatswood which isn't THAT far. Then again, I was in a Prado. Having said that, a bigger car will have a bigger tank (the Prado has two separate tanks) so what the.....

Haha. It'd be like a 30 min drive (on a good day) from Lane Cove. I used to go from Lindfield to Mona Vale daily for work. It's funny, after working there a year I'd still never gone to see the beach. lol

Oooh palm beach, great idea! Might take the boy up there for lunch for valentines day.
Do you think that will work? I "take him to the beach for valentines day" and spend the day ignoring him for my camera? :P

That's why I never drive to uni. $20/day parking plus fuel costs.. I'll stick with the 2.5 hour travel times (which also sucks relatively large balls).

But considering USyd is a much larger campus, don't they have parking lots? And pick up a parking permit :) 20 bucks! Wowzer.

I only plan on going to uni through public transport, no where to park zzz.

Need something to do while I'm working.

50D Nice one! I don't think I'll be able to buy anything else this year. Unless I win lotto, or get a raise. My quota was hit a few weeks ago with the 100mm macro.

Can you open them through bridge?

mmmmmmmmm All I wanna buy is a battery grip and that's about it.. Im alil over lenses gotta make do with what I have cause I could just keep spending if I had it my way.

Na the thumbnails wont appear in bridge either, however it doesn't matter if they do or not, I need em working in Camera Raw... Anyway think I mighta found a way around it

Still at the Club Anneh. It's pretty crap right now. I'm on the look out for something else. If it's the right job, I'll be applying. Hopefully something comes up soon. lol

Battery grip is a must. Apart from the 400D being tiny, I don't get the same feel without the grip. My lens lineup is complete. So, now it's just finding the time to get out and shoot.

Did you install the EOS software? I know you don't need it, but it might help
