Oh, well that makes more sense. I'm up because I have night duty tomorrow night and I usually stay up all night the couple of nights preceding that... means I'm not a zombie at work on the first night which is important and also, well, I like being up all night and it's useful to get sunrise shots :)

I much prefer seeing the dawn from this side rather than having to get up to enjoy it :p

Hey dude,

Yeah, the [R]evo thing was all good in the end. I ended up receiving double what they originally said they'd pay me..I guess whinging does work. So i'll keep shooting for them.

Honestly, i'd say send shots into [R]evo. As pissed as i was about that issue, I understand they're one of the only Australian mags who will give coverage to up-and-coming 'togs.

Unfortunately I've got no links to the thing in France, but basically what it is is a huge downhill race starting from the top of the Alps, and is like...10 or 15 or so k's long (i'm not actually entirely sure to be honest), that runs through snow and ice and then onto gravel. It's a pretty epic event, and has a whole week of riding that revolves around it. Would be awesome to shoot..i'm looking forward to it. :D

You can always contact me on here or on Farkin if you're going. We can meet up n shoot, etc.

O/T - What's everyone up to this weekend? How cold has the weather gotten?! Autumn has definitely hit, and we've no more daylight savings..:(

That's mostly what the Aussie POTN club already is, mostly... QLDers keep to the Brisbane one for the most part and the rest of the country doesn't seem to represent enough to have their own threads..

It must be your avatar that's scaring people away, Tristan.

I could swear you didn't have those appendages when I met you!
