I know this is suppose to be a digital forum but I wanted to get recommendations on shooting film, more specifically slides, transparencies. I would like to make enlargements later on, much later (5-6 years) of some of the better pictures. What film does anyone recommend so I could store the slides and not lose color quality? Will the Kodak Ektachrome E100VS Color Slide Film ISO 100 hold up well over time?

Rebel xti, grip, canon ef 50 f/1.4, canon ef 17-40 L, speedlite 430, rebel t2

I could be wrong now, but it used to be that Ektachrome didn't hold up very well.

I know Kodachrome 64 will hold up very well to time, but processing is harder to find now.
