Hi, guys -

I'm seeing odd behavior for a jpeg I attached to a message. Another poster said he didn't see it. I see it using Firefox but not using IE - instead it's a link.

I uploaded and attached it (paper clip) just as I've done many times.

Here's the post in question: https://photography-on-the.net …hp?p=5167917&postcount=12

When I look at the source code I find this:
<img src="http://photography-on-the.net/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=255806&d=1206215277" border="0" alt="Name: grayscale.jpg Views: 4 Size: 12.6 KB" style="margin: 2px" />

I'm attaching the picture here also (fresh upload):

I'm seeing a gray scale.

I'm on IE via a Dell 24" LCD and I see a nice, clean 11 step grayscale chart both here and on the original that you linked.

Hmmm. The guy who originally couldn't see my picture can see it now after I deleted and re-uploaded it. But I can't see it with IE. On an XP desktop and a Vista laptop.

Maybe I have some settings problem with IE.

Thanks to both of you...

You must be logged in to see attachments as images, otherwise all you see is the link. Probably you are logged in with firefox and not with IE.

AHA!

That was it, Rafael - I was logged in already in Firefox, but that didn't count when I went to POTN with IE. I logged in with it and everything is normal.

So I'm logged in twice at this moment. Doesn't seem to be a problem, but I'm sorta surprised that the forum allows that. I'll make sure to log out before I close IE...

The cookies are different for each browser, I guess. I do not see a problem on using both browsers simultaneously on the same account.
