Hotdog in the snow

Here is my "hotdog" trying to plow his way through the snow. We had 20" of snow a couple weeks ago, and he really wanted to play. (he is not more then 12" at the shoulders)

cute beard! Shooting in snow is tough ...

I cannot figure out if he looks miserable or if he just popped his head up from being chin deep in fluff.

He looks like my dog when she plows through the snow. She's two feet at the shoulder though. We haven't had much fresh snow up here in Michigan for a few weeks and we had some warm weather so everything's crusty and she can walk on top of the snow now.
