Hello,
I'm working to restore some photographs that were, except one, kept for far to long on display in direct sunlight. The UV and Age have destroyed the colors and essentially rendered them monochromatic Red. I did my usual 'VooDoo' in photoshop after scanning and pulled them into being mostly normally colored. I would have been quite happy with the results except that little outlier that was NOT very badly damaged. It perked up into near perfection that looks like it was just shot and printed except for the brady bunch clothes and haircuts on the subjects! The OTHER pictures are of the same kids, same setups, and when the 'final' restorations are sitting next to one another on the screen - the difference is very jarring.
I've spent like 20hrs banging away in any way I can think of in Photoshop to take my resto's to that next level and match the really good image out of the bunch.
I give up - HELP! I've used Variations, Color Balance, Color Matching between Images, Levels, Curves, Auto-Color, I've tried multiple combinations and whatever the route end up with essentially the same final products in the end.
Where do I go next!
How do I share a Sample!
Richard
