Rivington Pike Fell Race

As it's very local I took a few shots at Rivington Pike Fell Race this afternoon (just before the snow). For those who know the area the race is from The Crown in Horwich up to the pike and back, a hard steep walk never mind running up there. It must have been extra hard this year as it was cold and blowing a gale on the top, to be honest I was glad to get back down and did not wait for all the runners to pass. To make it worse Ron Hill was running today and I'm not sure if I've got a shot of him :oops: I know he passed while I was there as another tog came over to ask if I got the shot.

Another reason they're always be an England...

This hurts just to look at let alone participate.

I'd say you got some really clean images considering the conditions you describe.

Nice pictures, good focus and movement stopped, could be a bit lighter and brighter.

Sound like a well organized event with the start and finish at the pub.
