Nice action, sharpness is good and as best as can be expected with a 1.4 TC on your 300. Nice detail in the white uniforms as well. Faces are a tad dark in spots but very acceptable considering the lighting and angles. Nicely done.

VERY nice!

So many times I hear that folks like cloudy days to take action shots since the light is more even, hence produces less shadows......Well personally, it seems the best shots I see posted are ones where the sun is out (obviously early in the day or later in the day are best) like yours. I look forward to seeing the sun again here in Seattle....only a few more months to wait....:)

again...Great Shots!

Any reason why you shot at f4.5 and not f4.0?

They're good, but the action shots are better than the 'portrait' action ones. After a while the individual shots tend to look very 'samey', despite their quality. The ones of players in competition are streets ahead. I like them. :)

wow, great pictures.

i really like how the background is separated in the image, something i still have an issue with in my soccer pictures.

my suggestion get in tighter for some facial expressions, you dont always have to have the ball in the frame but sports people put in alot of effort when the action comes to them so facial and body strain on muscles always make great shots.

otherwise i love the dof

4 and 7 have great facial expressions, as well as good action. Nice shots and great DOF. Also, I love that the backgrounds are so clean and clutter-free.
