I can't believe my little guy is almost 2. He is always in motion, or sleeping. He is always talking, smiling, crying, screaming or otherwise expressing himself. I caught this in a rare moment of stillness, when he was by a window and I had the 85 mm on my camera.

Nice shot really looks great.
Good focus.
Good lighting.
Good advert for the 85mm lens.

EDIT. Could you give exposure details please......:)

thanks

It was f/4.0 ISO 400 and 1/250

Actually my wife thinks the right side of the face is too blown out, so I am reworking the post processing.

I revised this based on input from my wife.

Is this better?

Yes it does now look better.
At f 4.0 the 85mm is very sharp.

I can see a transition line on the right side of his face, so I need to try again.

The second effort look a bit washed out to me. I like the first shot better.
I remember these days very well.....good job!

I love the first one. The second edit looks softer to me and not as crisp so i prefer the first. It looks a little cool to me but im uncalibrated.

I actually like the first better as well. The colors are more vibrant and it doesn't look faded like the second. I really like this photo. His eyes are amazing.
