I like the first shot but not to crazy about the crop. The second one's bw conversion almost looks as if it were sketched with pencil. Great job.

I love the second photo. It's great. I am also not so crazy about the crop on the first photo.

those shots look like they were taken by 2 different people
the first is composed ok but he looks bored and there is no life to it

the second is like he's about to reach out through the screen and grab your hat off your head! its fantastic, really arresting and excellent technique

I like the 2nd one as well. On the first one the crop is a bit off, would like to see more of his left arm.

Like all the others its the second for me. I'm generally not a big B/W fan, but this picture is very good, the eyes very often come out poorly, but with this you've got them spot on.
The first shot it really does not look as if he is very comfortable with the pose.

The eyes look un-natural in the second compared to the first. In the first the pose and lighting are not flattering for a young male, the nose is lit incorrectly in both making it look larger than it is.

Sorry not caring for either image.
