Nice shots but I think you have over processed it. Look at the "halo" around the two birds.

Comments and crits are much appreciated.
Shoot till your finger bleeds ... it is just a moment in time and then it is gone forever.

Yep: the bird was too dark, so I've tried to recover it with "curves" and "shadow/highlight". I think I should try a layer mask...
