I've just upgraded from a powershot to a 30D so raw conversion is a new addition to my routine...

I currently use CS3 & Adobe Raw on my G5 Imac and store the photos for browsing in Iphoto but it all seems a bit disjointed. Would replacing Iphoto with Lightroom make the whole download/adjust/edit/file process more integrated?

What do you lot use and those who use LR what do you think?

Thanks in advance :)

Lightroom. I enjoy it. I learn something new that it does everyday. My computer is starting to hinder me however when it comes to processing power and this application.

Used to beImage Ingester (external link),iView (external link), then DPP, then CS2.

Nowadays I use Lightroom instead of DPP + PS for images that don't need PS. It works faster. If I need to go through PS, I still prefer to use DPP for the better IQ.

Another Lightroom and CS3. I can't imagine life without them anymore.
