ok well i was invited to point to point , ie horse racing

well i wasnt sure what to exspect but was good so thought i would shear some photos

c&c welcome as not sure what im doing lol with new cam

so 40d 24-105 hand heild

They all look good to me. I really like #2 and #3. You might want to try a slower shutter speed on shots like #3 and practice panning. You also might want to try f/4 or something similar to help seperate the horse from the background. Nice work over all.

Nice shots. Looks like a fun shoot.

The only suggestion I have is on #2 you might try a vertical crop to show the heigth of the jump. Or, next time just try shooting in portrait for these shots. I also agree with penodr -- faster shutter speed and/or pan on shot #3.

Not bad for your first attempt, on shots like #2 try and get lower and like someone said before open the lens upto about F4

This is F3.5 laying on my back with 50mmF1.4
