I need to find a case for my Canon S3 IS. I have not been able to find anything locally that I am happy with. I was wondering what case other owners have for this camera. What I want is something that is big enough to hold the camera, an extra memory card and extra set of batteries. I would also like something that is small enough to carry around on my belt without being to huge. Any suggestions?

Gear list: Canon 20D, Canon 17-55IS, Sigma 70-200 F2.8, Canon EF 50/1.8, Speedlite 550EX

I recommend that you check out Lowepro's very extensive line of fine camera bags at http://products.lowepro.com/ (external link) Amazon.com and other on line vendors carry many bags from the Lowepro line at reasonable prices.

I purchased a Roots Sling Pack #RP108 for my S5. The center compartment will just fit the camera with a lensmate, filter and cap attached. I put the camera in with the lens to the right and the handgrip upwards. It will fit a dslr if the lens isn't too big. It's got a couple of small pockets on the exterior for batteries, filters etc.
