I'm not sure how it is for POTN members in other parts of the world, but in the UK it seems that a wedding reception isn't complete without the traditional alcohol-fuelled punch-up.

I'm curious to know how many of the wedding photographers amongst us have that the pleasure of witnessing such an event, and if so, did you get any good photos?

Obviously this isn't a request for people to post photos (unless you absolutely insist), but maybe some of you have some amusing wedding photography-related tales that you would like to share.

I must be going to the 'wrong' weddings - Been to about 10 in the last 3 or 4 years and never seen one punch-up

That's a shame Kevin. They obviously weren't doing it properly.

I had a feeling that this subject may not be as successful as my thread about the best smelling pieces of photography equipment, but I thought I would give it a go anyway!

Hmmm....I haven't seen punch ups but at my reception we did have several people attempting to pole dance on the tent pole and my uncle almost took out his mom. And at others, there's the people that end up running around in just their boxers or the ones that throw up on the bar. Those would be winning moments to capture as well. :)
