So if I had a D30 and a 10D side by side taking a picture of the same thing in RAW. Then I resize the pics to say 900x600 for web presentation. Will the 10D pic have much better details than the D30 pic? Thanks

mdude85 Senior Member 391 posts Joined Jul 2004 More info | Nov 08, 2004 23:15 | #2 theoretically yes, but you lose details when you save as a lossy JPEG, and you also lose details when you do a resize and save lossless. so it's not really something you should concern yourself with if your images are only going to be 900 x 600. you might even consider shooting D30 at medium size.
