I bought a new SD870IS and a new SDHC card. I wanted to copy my pics from the old SD card to the new because I like to review them. Tried this using Photoshop, Canon Viewer, Windows without success. My card shows that there's data on it, but it does not view when in the camera. Message says "No Image". Any ideas?

Use Canon ImageBrowser to upload images from computer to camera. (edited. got that backwards the first time. oy.) Works for original, unaltered still images only - no rotated, cropped or other processed images, and worst of all, no videos. None, nada, rien, zip.

SDHC USB

Put on there and open like a regular folder, not using canon software. Copy files to computers hard drive. Copy from hard drive back to new SDHC card using the same adapter.

I never use the canon software - pain in the rump...

The files have to be in the \DCIM\###CANON (where ### is a number between 100 and 999) directory on the card for the camera to display them. If you use Zoom Browser to copy them from computer to camera, there shouldn't be a problem. If you move them to the computer, edit them, and try to use some other means of copying them back to the card, you can expect to have problems.
