Spring sports have kicked off in Indiana. While still pretty cold, it is nice to be out of dark gyms and back to shooting with my most favorite lens. Here are a few from the game. Thanks for looking.

Very nice...

Just wondering if you have any more frame right in #1 so we can see where the ball skipped? The catcher's position and dynamic suggest it but it would be nice to see it.

Great "Oh Sh*t" moment in #2... Did he beat the tag?

Here is the full image of the catcher shot. The ball actually hit the plate so did not kick up much dirt at all. I cropped it tight since there was no flying dirt. Because the file size limits here I tried to isolate him a bit more. Personally I like the full image. It looks really nice full screen on my big monitor.

They called him safe but it sure was close. The next frame is also blocked by his leg to see if he made the tag in time.
