Again underexposed up the ISO from 800 to 1600 I'm sure the 40D can live with that OK.
One strange thing on your other post you took the pictures one hour later at 1/1000 still at ISO 800?

This was taken with 100-400 mm IS lens at f5.6 that can be problem because I used to shot with 70-200 2.8 but I wanna try this one too :)

I'm affread to use more then ISO 800 or ISO 1000 to take pictures:)

Looking at other pictures that have been posted I think you will be pleasantly surprised. Try some test shots before the next game.
