You can get a tripod attached pretty well, or at least I think so, because of the numerous straps for ski and snowboard carry. You should hopefully be able to find something that works, even if it's not a dedicated tripod pocket. I'm curious as to where you stored the laptop in the bag because I have to plans to get one soon enough.
Edit: Yeah, I definitely agree about using it in sketch situations. It's not overly obvious to be a camera pack, and the opening is against your back- no way to open it without taking it off, plus it can be secured to you with two straps. If I'm worried I just don't use the outside pockets, or I put unimportant items in there such as gum.

Not an ideal scenario but the camera block was big enough to fit my 15inch macbook pro - I did have a Speck case so wasn't too worried about it scratching. I only went down this route because when I got to Tuscany, I kept the laptop in my suitcase in the hotel, if I needed to keep it in the Sequence at all times, I probably wouldn't have bothered.

Thanks, good to hear because I'm planning on purchasing the 15" Pro in the coming months when I get the chance. It won't be my primary bag for it, but it's nice to know it will work if I need it to.

I found a almost perfect 13" laptop holder. On the front pouch, there are 3 compartments. Simply break the stitching, and tada! A perfect laptop holder.

I went for a Burton Zoom, over the Sequence because I didn't think it could hold a laptop.

Its the squence, I can't remember where I purchased mine from but it was pretty difficult to find because most places were out of stock. There is no swing round option with the seqence as its a normal double strap backpack.

I think you thought I meant the swingshot, which I have but hate. I'm comparing it to a flipside which is a backpack type, the one the OP got rid of.

Hey mate, nice review, looks like a nice bag.

Do you know what it can hold in comparison to a Computrekker? I have one of these at the moment and wanna move up to one of these (or the Burton Zoom) for traveling through the snow, just wanna make sure it'll be big enough.

Cheers

i got a question about the camera block. it is just huge or it is just me. i was reading on the site that the depth of the block was only 5inches. when it in, i was like wth this thing is not 5inches deep its almost 7.5inches deep. i was a little dissapointed since i wanted to fit this in my northface surge, but now its just way too big to even go in there. it barely fits in my dakine ridge and that was made for it. did i get an oversized one? if someone has a smaller one. wanna trade?

I've just measured camera block that came with Sequence. When empty, it measures 5 inches but in reality with camera and lenses, it's more like 6.5-7 inches. I think you have same block as mine.

so are u measuring the internal depth or the external. its definitely 7.5 inches when i measured the outside of it. i folded up a piece of paper in half the long way and put next to the block and the paper was at least 2inches shorter.

I took it out of Sequence. Emptied all the content except the dividers. Measured outside. It was 5.15 inches. I used my digital caliper so I know it's accurate.
