I'm thinking of downgrading my 30D to one of the rebels due to the weight of the camera. How noticable is the weight for those who have used both?

Of course, I'd had almost a year by that time to get used to the weight of Digital Rebel+Grip+24-70mm f/2.8L. Shawn McHorse - Shawn.McHorse.com

Mar 26, 2008 12:35 | #4 That's what I worry about. The weight is bothering me (health problems) and I can't bring myself to downgrade to a P&S as my only camera. After 30 minutes of shooting with my 30D and 100 macro I had to rest. It's depressing the crap out of me. photos

Most of the time it's the lenses that cause fatigue, not the body itself. Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here

Have you considered moving from the 100 Macro to the 60? The 60 is about half the size of the 100. Might make more of a difference than switching the body. I've used the 50mm f/1.4 at times specifically because I wanted to give my hands a break. Light lenses make a lot of difference. Shawn McHorse - Shawn.McHorse.com

Macs are A solution, not THE solution. Get a good desktop i7 with Windows 7 and come tell me that sucks for photo or video editing.
