They look good to me. The last one is the only one I have an issue with. To much wasted space on the right, could use a better crop.

BTW I like your avatar:lol::lol::lol:

There are several options. The first would be to talk to someone from the league/school. They may have a contract shooter already in which case you shoot through the fence or bring a ladder and shoot over. If they don't have a contract shooter then you have an opportunity before you. In either case I would be careful about just showing up and shooting uninvited ( especially if it is minor children ). Parents are very protective these days. There is a very good link here on shooting baseball:

All shots were from behind the fence/wall surrounding the field. Number 1 and 4 were shot through the mesh you see in the background of #4. Note: not through the chain link fence but through the rope mesh.

To me, the grey and purple colors contribute to a drab appearance of the images. The grass is just starting to green up and the shots with green grass or green wall look better.

Also, by using the 1.4 TC, I get tighter images but now have to shoot at f/4 thereby losing the bokeh available at f/2.8. (70-200 f/2.8) Shots were taken at about 5 to 6pm--hence long shadows.

Suggestions for improvement?
