Met up with some of the guys from our local Protege club (bcprotege.net (external link)).

After dinner and getting kicked out of the casino parking lot (for taking pictures) we moved to Ikea where the police and the security had NO problem with us being there.

Here's what I came up with:

Too shallow focus. Maybe try a higher aperture like 2.8 or higher, 1.8 is quite shallow. They all look good otherwise!

hah, interesting. i never realized that.

thanks for pointing it out. i guess i just havent seen a TS lens used much in automotive photography.

Sorry, my apologies, I viewed these first without my exif enabled firefox. He didn't use his tilt shift on these. Just his fast lenses.

Thanks everyone for the comments. These were all shot either with my 45 TS-E or 70-200. BOTH are 2.8 lens, so I didn't shoot them with anything wider than that.

Why the EXIF says 1.8 on some, I have NO idea.
