...or user :o

Only these two images (out of about 230) were effected, but I'm blowed if I know what's caused it.

30D + 70-200/2.8IS + 1.4xTC
EXIF for both 1/1000 f4 @ 800 FL = 280mm/235mm resp.

Preceeding and succeeding images aren't effected.

Just as well these images are throwouts otherwise there would've been alot of 'cloning around'.

Thanks all.

Would it be a really dumb and patronising suggestion to say it loks like sweat flying through the air? Are the patterns the same? I couldn't tell...

Hmmmmm...not a dumb suggestion at all actually. No so much sweat, but maybe sand or dirt. I'll have another squiz through and see what I come up with. Thanks btw! :)

Mmmm - pass. I'm over it now anyway. :) Total of 8 crappers out of 230 - I'm happy.

It's sweat, think about it, the player is in harsh contact, obviously thats when its gonna come flying off the persons shirt or hair..etc

you have nothing to worry about.

I tried to write my signature, but my pen ran out and I put a big scratch on my monitor

Looks like sprayed water... was it damp out?

Not at all Jim. In fact we were rugged up in the stands.

It was only 15 mins into the first half so I doubt that's enough time to get a sweat up.

Not the most pleasant thought but if not sweat (which it could well be, try sprinting around for 15min!) I'd say it's almost certainly spit...
