Apple lost a lawsuit as the millions of colors they advertised is actually just a couple of hundred thousand and can result in notable banding on smooth color transitions.
Makes you wonder though, which models use these 6-bit displays. Which other companies use 6-bit displays. How many are being truthful, and how many are misleading folks using the same strategy Apple chose to?
