My first zoo ape shots taken at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans. 40D, 70-200 f4 IS with kenko 1.4x TC.

Yes I'm pretty newbie at both photgraphy and photoshop so just looking for some basic pointers, nothing too fancy;) A little apprehencive about posting but hope some criticism will at least help me improve.
Thanks.

And before anyone say it: straighten #1..?

Help, they've escaped! (be great if how to post images was more intuitive for beginners - I'm an IT geek and I found it painful :-( )

Oh, I love the big guys...I would crop the first I think.?

Second is a sweet face, seems the focus was on the upper arm area though...and the third is a great photo.

thanks. Yeah maybe croping the first, I like the pose of that guy though (a girl actually).
I also wish the face was a little more prominent in the second. Lightened it in PS but didn't want to overdo it. Not sure why I didn't get focus on the face, not like he was running around:rolleyes:
thankfull for any comments and tips!
