The Cornell range map shows them all the way up in to Canada during the summer and even on the Great Lakes near Wisconsin it looks like year round! There's probably one right in your back yard! when I was walking down a wooded path looking for the local great-horned owls. None of these guys were seen last year at Presque Isle State Park (although they do occasionally migrate through) so he made the "unusual bird sightings" list for the local Audubon chapter
