Sometimes the surfer could be secondary to the wave, don't you think? If they were any brighter I would probably get slammed for the white being to blown out 1DX, 1D MarkIV, 5D MarkIII, 70-200mm 2.8., 400mm 2.8, 24-70 2.8, 17-40, 15mm

If they were any brighter I would probably get slammed for the white being to blown out To an extent, but i don't see how the surfer can be completely secondary to the wave...if that were the case, there would be no point in finding a competition, just go to the beach and shoot some waves. But some of them are underexposed to the point that you are staring to loose detail on the face...not good. Jon Eilts
