Here's a nifty little 4-1/2 minute video showing it in use:

There are also several informative videos on the lastolite site (www.lastolite.com (external link)).

500 or 600+ depending on the size. look pretty cool though, but doesn't look like anyone on the planet uses them.

Wouldn't it be a pretty useful as a light bank as well... great for simulating window light :)

Um, I have one and it gets my vote for sheer ease and convenience, does what it says on the tin.

Brilliant in a tight space, you don't need any separation from the background,
great portability, quick to set-up and a riot to get back in the bag lol.

I have found that using one strobe inserted from above works best for me.

pregnancy pic from first time use, I draped a net curtain over it to simulate a window:

I use one for al my location work an it works a treat. So easy to go up and either two elinchrom dlite 4's or 2 x 580exII and one 430ex works in all conditions

Your pic where you simulated a window looks great!

Here is what mine looks like when its all up, very compact and I havent found a house/room that it wont fit in. The bonus is you can back people right up to the background and you wont get a shadow because of the strob inside.

I go between strobes (400w Elinchrom D-lites) and 2x 580exII and 1x 430ex to light it and both methods work out very well. I have the 6x7 foot version, very compact and easy to carry around.

Great photo!

Are you using 2 D-Lites to light it, or just one?
