Thats very nice. My new macbook has slowed me down a little in the purchase department, but this is on my list. I am going to light it with two vivitar 385s, which I think will be plenty of light.

Fox, is yours the 5X7 or 6x7?

MIne is the 6x7 foot version and its plenty big for up to 4 or 5 people groups. The two vivitars will be fine with that, I sometimes use a reflector to remove a bit of shadow if needed.

Here it is turned landscape style and using two elinchrom dlite 4's. One in the highlight and you can see the placement of the other, as you can see fairly crowded in the room but I havent found anywhere I cant fit it in :)

D4 inside set to 4 and the main light set to 5. All fits in three neat bags and transports really well. I use the flash heads for portraits and thats even more compact. I will take a picture of the bag it comes in and post it up. I have to do some head shots of myself tonight :)

Very nice setup. Definitely on my wish list.

I want to see your headshots. If I come over to Ireland next year I may have to look you up. Your horses are EXQUISITE!

This thing looks pretty sweet, I gotta say. Very portable, no need to mess around with white seamless, works in tight areas... A bit pricey for what it is, but considering time saved - not bad! Should be easy enough to slip in some white tile board on the ground for a slightly reflective effect.

Anyone tried gelling the flash output yet?

This is like the coolest thing since sliced bread...hehe. I don't know much about 'lighting' but this thing makes it look 'easy as pie.'

I would love something like this, but can't justify the cost of it versus use...

I use it about 5 times a week so it is really worth it for my use. The back of it is black, you can also fit somebody inside the hilite for different effects (havent tried this yet) Many thanks Photodawg :)

I set it up to take a head shot of myself so here goes :)

IMAGE: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y213/Borderfox/6X7C0705.jpg

Two flash head/ one on camera and one in the hilte on the right
IMAGE: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y213/Borderfox/6X7C0707.jpg

And this is the result,I used another 430ex also on this shot but tbh I could have gotten away without it. I used Guy Gowans actions to take some of my lines and wrinkles out (really handy by the way)
