I'm new on here and from the look of most of the photo's displayed on her i've an awful lot to learn. I just love taking photo's of my dogs and other peoples dogs. I've a working Labrador and 2 working whippets.

here is a photo of my whippet pup (9 months old) that i quite like

I onlt shoot in j-peg as i don't have any software to enable me to shoot in RAW at the moment

I have a whippet. They are the most gentle and affectionate dogs.

Great pics. I have been trying to get that exact shot of my whippet, but he is just too fast from me to track. I especially like the photo of the lab, though.

BTW... The software that you should have gotten with your 30D has a Raw converter that a lot of people here avidly use and swear by.
