Yeah, it's around 55 and windy. I want to go back to a spot and reshoot the pics for my first photography project because 1) I have better glass 2) I have a better understanding of composition and will check the background and 3) I didn't really do a good job of taking the pics from the exact same spot so they look kind of sh1tty. The project was to take a number of different shots at different times of the afternoon/evening to portray the change of color and lighting at different times

I see.... I've had that same assignment except we had to take photos of the same thing during various parts of the day. It was rather boring but I was able to get some nice shots from it.

That's what I mean, sorry for not being more clear about that. I needed shots of the same place at different times but I decided to shoot a number of different locations so I had a variety or choices when it came time to send them in. I didn't do my best to take mine from the same spots so they look pretty terrible.

Well, I just took a bunch of shots downstairs using every lens I own (except my 70-200) plus I used my uncles' 100mm macro and the Rebel's kit 28-80 (I think). It turns out that one is a strobe and another I guess is just a light, even though both look exactly the same. Oh well, I didn't bother fiddling with them to see if both would flash but I am going to look them up online to see what they cost.

So, when's the magic day so Jeff and I can fly out?

LOL she will have plenty of shutter bugs clicking away at the ceremony. So she should get at least a couple nice shots for the album. I'll make sure Bob wears a shirt. ;)

Lol. I wonder what it really is like when a pro photog with pro photog friends gets married. How many of those folks probably have their 1D Mk lll's or 5D's out in their car?

Because I would rather have a shot of them, and I don't think a 70-200 would be practical in a basement/garage

Haven't you learned that yet? Just set up to have your pay check direct deposited into a B&H account. They'll send you whatever you've reached the threshold for. It's a great time-saver . . .

oh be quiet. I'll relinquish my title when you light off a firecracker in your hand. And btw, I'm planning on making some smoke bombs shortly :)

Better not take them to school! you could get sent to juvi for that! and I am not as careless with fire as 'some' people are! the 'god of fire' would not be reckless with fire... thus having a black cat blow up in his hand... :p

HA HA HA HA! man! that sucks that you have to wear a uniform at school. I almost got sent home from work one time for not shaving... but... that was in the factory.

Good morning Adam, And Jeff! and the rest of you thread people!

Brooke, it looks like when I left they started picking on you pretty bad! next time tell them that you pay the person that finds you the right guy $1000 or an L. however if they suggest someone that is not suitable then they have to give you TWO L's or 2k. whichever is higher :)
