Morning everybody. Tomorrow Dad and I leave for the Eastern Shore so today (probably around lunch time) I will head out to Best Buy to get some batteries for my clock, maybe a camera bag if they have one that will hold my XT, 18-55 and 24-70, and then I guess I'll run over to Dick's Sporting Goods to see if they have any long sleeve bike jerseys (I burnt my shoulders pretty badly (on monday I think) so Mom wants me wearing something that will cover them in case it is sunny. Today, however, it is overcast and still wet from last night's thunder storm. Later this evening I'm going to the place where I work to pick up a check because my bosses said they would sponsor me

Your marketing plan has nothing to do with starting a forum called POTN (pictures-on-the-net) that caters to Canon enthusiasts with ads on PBS does it?

Good morning folks!

We're recovering from a storm today and due to hit 85 degrees. Yowsers!

It's almost the last day! Woo-hoo! And, our contract got settled last night....the board refused to negotiate so the state stepped in and imposed QEO which means we get 3.8% total increase (includes increase in insurance) for this year and next. So, we get a piddly salary raise after paying the higher insurance rates. But, we will get back pay now.

A lot of the teachers are really disappointed and kind of hurt because the difference between what we asked for and what we got was only $7K total....not a lot to pay for good staff morale. I think next year will be very interesting...no one is going to do anything that is not specifically listed in the contract. Oh, well.

Nope, normally I just wear a regular pair of shorts and a tee-shirt. I don't think the skin tights would look good while riding a mountain bike For this ride Dad and I will be wearing out "Bike To Work Day" shirts (and we get a "Bike MS" shirt when we turn in our donations). If it's going to be sunny I'll need something to cover my arms and I don't have any light-weight long sleeve shirts
