Is it still storming and dark by you too Tiff? Sorry about your lack of a decent raise, I know how it feels at least you get something.

Nah, the storms are done now...it was over by 7:30ish. We got a ton of rain though. Aidan slept through it. Me, not so much. I woke up at 5am and realized it was storming and ran downstairs to unplug the computer and such. So, I've been awake pretty much since then. Oh, well.

The raise thing kind of sucks. But, we only have next year with this contract and then we're back to bargaining again. At least it's something. And, I only have ONE DAY LEFT UNTIL OCTOBER 22ND!!!!!

I know. ;) I just had to tease a little. :D Sounds like you need it to be Friday. ;)

I'm SO excited it's almost break time!! YAY!!! And, my mom said she is coming for a visit next week so that'll be nice. I haven't seen her in 5 months or so. My main projects this summer are to get ready for the baby and potty train Aidan. I'm putting that off a week or two though because he'll already have enough disruption in his schedule and I don't want to throw too much at him. But, it'll be nice to have him out of diapers (even if he reverts when the baby is born). He has too cute a little tush to be padded with diapers. :D

Yeah, I hope so too. I don't want to spend the summer fighting him on it.

Yeah that would not be so much fun! Just give him candy or something everytime he does go on the potty! Maybe he'd make himself learn faster hehehehe.
My nephew gets his toys taken away everytime he doesn't and then gets them back when he does. He still hasn't totally caught on yet though :)

Do the potty party like they recommend on Dr. Phil. Supposedly you can pull it off in a day. But then I see some whack freak moms who potty train at 1 month or so. You just have to read the signs, yea right!

I'm planning on having him in undies outside most of the day. I think a few times having pee run down his leg should be enough for him. He's pretty particular. He fusses even if he spills a few drops of juice on himself. I'm also going to get him a Dora potty seat to put on the big toilet (because he LOVES Dora) and maybe some Dora stickers that he gets whenever he goes potty in the toilet. I think I need to buy some more undies for him though just in case. I don't want to bother with pull-ups because they are basically glorified diapers and I don't think he'll catch on as fast.

I can see him at 40 sitting on the thrown eating a snickers bar with a diet coke. :)

In a day...yeah right. I'm skeptical. And those moms who train so early...they aren't training the baby...they're training themselves. Diapers aren't that aweful bad that you need to go to that extreme. Jeepers.
