I am looking for a system (Kiosk like) that will allow potential customers the opportunity to view, crop, and choose print sizes of pictures. I have looked a "5 Minute Photography" but from what I read it does not allow the customers to crop the pictures as they want for the size of picture that they want, which is one major feature I am looking for. I really don't mind if it is software I have to run on PC's, or a full hardware and software solution. I am trying to keep my cost for software under $2,000 and if it is a hardware and software option I am looking for less than $15,000.

I did some searches and came up with nothing I was looking for. Any suggestions?

There was an open source system out there being developed a while back.

Express Digital has something like that though.

I think I found what I am looking for. I am giving it a demo try right now, it's called Event Photo Systems (http://eventphotosystems.com/ (external link)) very easy to setup.

I'd be interested in what you decide to do for credit card processing and printing solutions as well.

I've been playing with EPS and asking support questions. I have to tell you, so far, I am VERY impressed with customer service. Still working some issues, but this clearly is a very robust and cost effective solution. I need to look the Express Digital solution to make a comparison, but I do know that solution can be VERY expensive and more complex.

Still looking for other insight/opinion.

I love EPS 2, I bought a copy the night I used it. I love it, simple to use, user friendly, works with vista machines. I went ahead and bought two computers that are for the soul purpose of viewing stations. EPS 2 is robust and cost effective, and thats all I can ask for in anything. The stability is also very good as well. I also love how it works over wireless networks, that cuts down on my need of wires LOL.
