Can anyone give me some tips on the best aa rechargeables to buy? I need a good charger too. I hear there are some smart chargers available but I've never used this stuff.

You can get them at thomas distributing. J. I have always wondered who actually keeps the batteries in a flash and doesn't use it for 6 months to a year? That is the main strong point of the Eneloops. I can see where they are good for remote controls and other things that you don't need to recharge regularly anyways, but I use my flash a heck of a lot more than two recharges a year. If I didn't, I sure as heck would be taking the batteries out of the thing. Derek
