This is the first weekend for a long time where I am free as a bird to choose to do whatever I want and that includes doing nothing ...

So in the dumb spirit of 'The Dice Man' I am opening up my daft little world to everyone at POTN and then letting the destiny that is your vote define my life on Sunday 30th March 2008.

For one day only you can be the flap of the butterfly wing that potentially sets up a series of events that is likely to result in hitherto unknown and unpredictable outcomes. It is a huge responsibility for you ladies, lads and lady boys to take on, but I think you are all lad, lady and lady boy enough to accept it.

For example, through your defining vote I could set off across the road and be run over by a bus, find a lottery ticket that makes me a millionnaire, on a whim be attracted into a travel agent to buy a flight to Australia, get bitten by a dog and later have my leg off due to gangreen, fall hopelessly in love with a tourist who I never see again but cannot get out of my mind and ultimately become insane as a result, and much, much more or even all of them ... your vote can be the slap of fate on my back as I sail forth into an unknown future!

Of course, choices could be limitless, we'd never find a winner here and it all becomes ultimately futile. So, I have created a set of ten random options and the winning vote is the winner. Everyone else is then a pathetic loser.

Once the votes are in then I will head off and bring back photographic evidence of my adventures; these to be posted here unless it is necessary to make use of the Glam and Nudie section for some :D

Vote away ...

I went for the "Buy a quality newspaper to read and have a beer/pub lunch" - I think the weather is going to be cr*p so it may be your best bet... ;)

Dunno really *shrugs*

I went for the 10-20 choice but any of them that gets you out and about is better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, as they say.

Housework is for nancy boys and my reading, to date, doesn't put you in that category, yet.

Sittin' inside readin' a book (no matter what the title and who the author) is a waste of a day - book readin' is for evenings...

If you have to learn how to use layers and dodge/burn in Photoshop then you have reverted to crap pictures, huh? ;)

Man, that is a punishing option Neil but there is some sense in whatcha say, tho' the place is already pretty tidy so diminished returns maybe?

Interesting to see the split between relax in the pub or go for the random adventure. Doesn't have to be mutually exclusive tho' which is where the Dawg is comin' from I reckon.

To follow Marie's option I think i would need to take some helucinagenic substance and then probably wear sun-glasses to cope with the new world-view!

Balliolman seems to be a girl :-)

A day to do nothing should be just that. Newspaper and pub lunch. Make it an early lunch and then if your bored, talk a walk down an unknown road. 2 for 1.

I only suggested pub because someone else forecast rain, barring that I would have opted for the walkaround, bus, or adventure. If I were on your side of the pond we could hook up and have an adventure together! :)

I thought the option said "jump in front of the bus and see where it takes you". Don't do that. Get on the bus please.

I see a pattern forming ... and Dawg please ignore the local weather 'know it all's' because they have no faith in the power of POTN fate and the possibility presented by pi**ing rain ;-)a
