I was thinking the same thing. I should take some after my wife feeds my six month old some peas or carrots. Now that's a mess!!;)

A lot of people will pierce a baby's ears when theyre really young, because they don't really know that they are their, and so therefor wont touch them, which ultimately leads to infection. Which is why most kids who are in the age range of wanting to get their ears peirced but dont understand the severity of infections, wind up having to take them out....it's a tough struggle...peirce them when young and they dont know any better, so when they get older they're just used to having them, or wait until much older so they know better, but it hurts a lot more...? Thank God I had boys! LOL

I'd never seen it before, it struck me as really odd as its normally the choice of the piercee to have them done, rather than growing up with them pierced.

Thanks. All done without any use of flash. On the full size pictures, you can actually see the window reflections.

I was wondering of maybe the mess was in her diaper and thats why she was so "content".
As for the earings...which I know shouldnt even be a debate on a photo board..but I do feel it should be the choice of the childs (when she is older) to pierce them...not the parents. But to each their own.
