These are all taken with my 580EX on a light stand shot through an umbrella. Flash was triggered with the Elinchrom Skyports.

All photos are on my Flickr account in my Signature.

Great job with the light. I don't love the crops in 6 and 8 but the clarity is super.

I am super cool n' stuff.

I agree, there is the faintest hint of a beautiful smile in the first image. Have you any more to share?

I do have more, she didn't want to smile she said she looks too fake when she smiles. I will show you one I have of her smiling. I will work with her again and see if I can get a little smile out of her.

Technically very well done but your model seems to have a touch of the "thousand yard stare" going. She's looking at the camera but for some reason she doesn't seem engaged by the lens.

Yeah, I am working on that , I am hoping that a few more times out she will feel more comfortable doing this. She is another photography student in my class.

Okay, how many people googled "Moebius syndrome" after reading this??
-Apple (who is the first to raise his hand)

I do like the lighting you used. Except for #6 and #12, I like how her entire face is lit even with the tilt of her head throwing the symmetry off. I look forward to viewing the 2nd session with this model!

I dream of Heaven.
My cameras dream of "L".
photograph/snapshot ratio 1/250 and I'm okay with it.
