I don't speak Italian, but the images were strange.

To me it seemed like every shot of the 5D high in the frame (like the clock tower) was way sharper than the D3.

But then in every shot down low in the frame (like the cobblestones) the D3 was way sharper than the 5D.

Any Italian speakers who can translate the commentary?

Well I think that's just because different focal points were used, probably user error. I don't think we're supposed to be looking for that, I think we're meant to be looking at noise and detail? If it's OOF, that's no fault of the camera.

The 5D looks noisier. But the whole test looks pretty dumb and unscientific too.

By the way, that guy, Marco Cavina, is very well known and has a huge knowledge. He is NOT Ken Rockwell.
