The creation of a tiff or psd file really hampered my processing time. I even added sata drives so I wouldn't take one drive too long. This is a welcome move.

I'll still use CS3 quite a bit for my sharpening, selective editing (layers) and framing but the integration of the two appears to be nearing completion.

30 day beta?

Exactly the same situation as me. I'm really looking forward to playing with this. Going to download now.

It's a 30 day beta as standard, for people who don't currently own LR.

Anyone with a 1.x serial number can use it until it expires on 31/8.

And anyone with a 1.x serial number can invite other people to use it for the full term (to 31/8) too.

If I Upgrade to the Beta Version, Am I going to have full access to the 1.3 version once the Beta expires?

I read that its not compatible with 1.x libraries yet, so make sure you backup before transferring all to the Beta. I personally wouldn't because it may have lots of bugs in it. Stick with your 1.x until the full 2.0 version is released and have a play in the meantime. That's what I'm doing.

Just install them side by side and keep your 2.0 as an EXPERIMENT not as production.
