I was in a moving boat when I saw it and I was not ready. It was pretty small for a hawk. Can anyone offer some advice in shooting birds like this? It was about 1:00PM. The sun was high and bright. I shot it on ISO 400, which probably should have been a lower number. The shutter speed was 1/400. AV was F8. Most of the time when I take pictures in bright light, they tend to come out hazy.
