Just got back. Kinda disappointing . Got a few good shots of some friends bikes. Only one I've worked on so far.

I like the first one - the selective colour works well, imho.

Kinda disappointing .

Here's your problems:

# Exposure Time (1 / Shutter Speed) = 17895698/1073741824 second = 1/60 second = 0.01667 second
# Lens F-Number/F-Stop = 536870912/134217728 = F4
# Exposure Program = normal program (2)
# ISO Speed Ratings = 400
# Exif Version = 0221
# Original Date/Time = 2008:03:30 00:30:30
# Digitization Date/Time = 2008:03:30 00:30:30
# Components Configuration = 0x01,0x02,0x03,0x00 / YCbCr
# Shutter Speed Value (APEX) = 792809472/134217728
Shutter Speed (Exposure Time) = 1/60 second
# Aperture Value (APEX) = 536870912/134217728
Aperture = F4
# Exposure Bias (EV) = 0/1 = 0
# Metering Mode = pattern / multi-segment (5)
# Flash = Flash fired, auto mode
# Focal Length = 536870912/16777216 mm = 32 mm
# User Comment (Hex) = 0x00,0x2e,0xac,0x40
User Comment Character Code = unknown
# FlashPix Version = 0100
# Colour Space = sRGB (1)
# Image Width = 600 pixels

You need to take control of your camera instead of letting some programming geek back at Canon do it for you. What does he know about what you're shooting?

Try manual in those tough conditions. First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO. Need an exposure crutch?

No. Everything is parked so closely together that the background becomes so busy with color. Plus, they wanted colorized shots for themselves.

I was disappointed with how small the show was this year- not my photos. As far as using Auto mode, the lighting and set-ups were horrific, plus my husband was using my camera, too. (He doesn't know how to use manual). It was just easier for the little time we were there. Next show, he has to bring his own camera (it took 10 minutes just to explain that "zoom" was not a button).;)
