It was a quiet day on the park on Saturday, but it ended on a good note :) . Too bad for the guy carrying a Nikon D200/500mm combo who passed me heading back the other way on the path I was going up. "Pretty quiet today," we both agreed and two minutes later I spotted this pretty kestrel perched in a snag :D. It was a little far off (would've been nice for the guy with the 500mm :p) but glad I got to see it at least.

Such a pretty bird; hard to believe it's a natural born killer!

Funny you should post this, I was walking my pooch today and two were having fun at about 120 ft over my head, lots of noise and turn and burn.

Great shot I hope to snag one myself one day.
